Staff Photographer The Media News Group, Bridgeport, CT 10/97 - 5/02.
Duties include photography assignments for The Connecticut Post, a daily newspaper, and four weekly and twice-weekly newspapers, Westport News, Fairfield Citizen-News, Norwalk Citizen-News and Darien News-Review. Responsible for sports, spot news and feature photos, as well as scanning negatives, editing photos and preparing photos for press using Adobe Photoshop.

Clients include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Sipa Photo Agency, Yale University Alumni Magazine, Offshore Magazine, Showboats International Magazine, The Connecticut Law Tribune and Fairfield University Campus Currents.

Duties included photographing various news events, layout work and helped develop the Pinedale Roundup's first digital darkroom.

Special Interests

Studied and produced alternative photographic processes including palladotype, gum bichromate and cyanotype. For MSU senior project, created daguerreotypes, the first mass-produced photographic process. Also collect antique daguerreotypes.

I am a Boston, Massachusetts photographer and photojournalist who specializes in photojournalism and documentary photography that captures in photos the true nature and character of any person or event for editorial, wedding photography, portraits, children's and family portraiture, documentary photography, headshots, commercial photography and corporate needs. It is my goal to provide you with high quality photography created with the greatest level of professionalism that a photographer can achieve.

As a photojournalist, I have had the pleasure to cover a variety of world events ranging from Presidential visits to the US Open Tennis Tournament to a humanitarian mission to Ecuador, as both a newspaper staff photographer and a freelance photographer. My passion as a photographer is to document real people that tells their story in photos, from social and evironmental issues to street photography to weddings and portraits. I also enjoy bringing my documentary, photojournalistic style of photography to corporate and commercial clients looking for a personalized and fresh look to their company image for annual reports, advertising, catalog, company website, brochure, sales sheet, evironmental portraiture and billboards.

I am a professional photographer who enjoys shooting photos of weddings and events in and around Boston including Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and the Berkshires. Though I am a photograpaher based in Massachusetts, I service all of New England including weddings and events in Block Island, Hartford, Connecticut, Providence, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and I can make my photography services available for travel in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and beyond.
